Traditionally a 20% deposit was required to avoid Lenders Mortgage Insurance (LMI), but government schemes now allow purchases with as little as 5% deposit. Through the First Home Guarantee, even 2% deposits may be possible in some circumstances. We assess your situation and recommend the best pathway for your financial position.
